► Visa Information
 

A visa is required to enter Nepal unless you are an Indian National. Visas can be obtained for 15, 30, and 60 days from a Nepalese Embassy abroad or (more easily), upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. You will need to supply a passport sized photograph and complete a visa form. (It is always a good idea to travel with several passport photos)

    • Single entry tourist visas cost US $30.00 for 60 days.
    • free visa for all tourist who visit Nepal only for 3 days.
    • free visa for tourists of SAARC countries and people's republic of China.
    • Multiple entry visa fee US$ 50.00 or equivalent convertible foreign currency or Nepalese currency..
    • A tourist visa can be extended up to 120 days from the department of kathmandu and Pokhara immigration office on request and then after an additional 30 days can be extended ones departure from the country within 150 days in one visa year.
    • Visitors may extend their tourist visa by paying US $30.00 for 30 days.
    • Transit visa can be obtained from airport immigration office by paying US $ 5.00 for a period of 48 hours on the presentation of confirmed air ticket.
    • Trekking permits are not required for Everest, Annapurna and Langtang areas. (Travel High Solu will arrange for any needed trekking permits to other areas when you arrive in Nepal.)
    • Business visas with multiple entry facilities are available at a rate of US $100 for one year and US $250 for five years. Ministry of Industry recommendation is required.
    • A foreigners who want to study(student visa), teachers and research scholars and their family obtained the approval of Nepal government may need to pay visa fee US$ 5 per month.
