The Mt. Kailash(Kang Rinpoche) and lake Mansarover situated in the west part of the Tibet has been sacred to Buddhist, Hindus, Jains and Bonpos for thousands of years. It is considered to be the "Center of the Universe". Mt. Kailash is revered as the source of 4 Asia's great rivers-the Indus, Brahmaputra, Ganges and Sutlej. Pilgrimage walk overland for weeks or months to accomplish their lifetime goal of reaching to this holy site, the center of the universe.
West of Kailash lies the ruins of the "lost cities" of Tshaprang and Tholing, once the capital of the powerful kingdom of Guge, which house some of the finest and earliest Buddhist wall paintings ever discovered. Day 01: Kathmandu – Friendship Bridge – Nyalam Drive to Friendship Bridge at Kodari ( Nepal – China Border). After immigration formalities, drive to Nyalam via Zhangmu.
Day 02: Nyalam Rest Day
Day 03: Nyalam – Saga Drive Nyalam to Saga via Peigutso (4400 m)
Day 04: Saga – Paryang Drive Saga to Paryang.
Day 05: Paryang – Mansarovar Drive Paryang to Mansarovar. (4500 m)
Day 06: Mansarovar – Darchen Drive Mansarovar to Darchen (4600 m)
Day 07: Darchen – Derapuk Start trek to Derapuk (5029 m) approx 18 km.
Day 08: Derapuk – Zutulpuk Trek to Zutulpuk (4800 m). Approx 18 Km.
Day 09: Zutulpuk – Darchen – Mansarovar Trek Back To Darchen (6 Km). Drive to Mansarovar (4400 m)
Day 10: Mansarovar Rest day in Mansarovar.
Day 11: Mansarovar – Paryang Drive to Paryang.
Day 12: Paryang – Saga Drive Paryang to Saga. .
Day 13: Saga – Nyalam Drive Saga to Nyalam.
Day 14: Nyalam – Kathmandu Drive Nyalam to Friendship Bridge ( Nepal – Tibet border) and transfer to Kathmandu
